I'm a 20-something-year-old who enjoys living life alongside my husband, Michael, and our cat, Max, in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina.
I was a musical theater major in college, but now I run my own business, Paper Swallow Events, where I plan, coordinate and design weddings for some of the swellest couples around! Being able to spend my days working on weddings has been a dream come true!
My growing up was spent in California, I met + married Michael in Tennessee and then we decided to move to Charleston just because we adored it. (Sometimes the best answer to a question is, "why not?!")
Quick Facts: I love listening to podcasts while I work, British television shows (particularly Doctor Who, allons-y!) are my favorites, and I could live off of pizza if I let myself (and if I wasn't gluten free, making it a pricey treat.) (Actually I've wondered if my pizza + ramen skewed diet in college might have contributed to the development of my gluten allergy...)
I hope you pull up your favorite comfy chair (mine is a vintage green velveteen), curl up with your favorite beverage, and stay a little while!

Meet Michael
Michael is my husband, best friend, and partner in crime. He makes a great board game opponent and indulges my affinity for 1000 piece puzzles. Together we enjoy building a small vinyl record collection - though Michael has much broader music knowledge and taste than I do, so it's always fun to see what he's going to introduce into our collection next!
Michael also runs his own photography business, Vested Image. This fact comes in very handy for me. Most of the photos of me that you'll see around this site are taken by him - though I try to give him a break and take everything else. #compromises
Quick Facts: He's a great museum buddy, you will likely lose track of him if you enter a bookstore or library together, and sushi is his Achilles heel.

Meet max
Max is the real boss around these parts and boy does he know it! #spoiledrotten He would tell you that we starve him to death but I often remind him that just because he's eaten two bites out of his bowl does not mean that it's now empty and in desperate need of a refill. It's a daily conversation.
Quick Facts: He LIVES for cheese but only the expensive kinds, he's terrified of nail files, and has an addiction to eating crepe paper if I don't keep an eye on him.
Meet Khaleesi
Khaleesi is the newest member of our little family unit. She's a german shepherd-husky mix (at least as far as we know), and a complete dork. She keeps us laughing with her energetic antics on the daily, and we're so glad to have her in our lives. (Max is still undecided.)
Quick Facts: She, like Max, would do just about anything for cheese, loves chasing us around whenever we vacuum (which happens a lot these days thanks to how much she sheds), and loves shredding lightweight cardboard boxes.
