Recently I've been asked several times how I keep my red hair so red. If you've dyed your hair red, you probably know how notoriously tricky keeping that vibrant red shade can be, so it's always fun to chat with others about what they have tried and the methods I use. It's only been the past couple months that I've really felt like I've figured out how to keep my hair so vibrant for several weeks. Since my red hair is one of my favorite things, being able to keep it red without constantly feeling the need to redye it (and kill it) has been a relief and I'm happy to share my experiences!
I bought the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte palette with some of my birthday money last year because I was in desperate need of some matte eye shadow shades and have been in love with this palette ever since. (Spoiler! haha)
Like the Lorac Unzipped Gold palette that I reviewed a couple weeks ago, I recognize that it's not a new product, but it is still available and sometimes the oldies really are the goodies. Plus, whenever I start following anyone who does makeup reviews, I always look for their reviews of some products I'm familiar with.
Because if their thoughts on a certain product I love align with my own, then I'm more likely to agree with their opinions in general which helps me gauge what to think about the new to me product reviews.
With that out of the way, let's jump in to this review of the Tarte Tartelette palette!
The Lorac Unzipped Gold eye shadow palette is one of my very favorites. No, it's not a new product, but it is still available and sometimes the oldies really are the goodies. Plus, whenever I start following anyone who does makeup reviews, I always look for their reviews of some products I'm familiar with.
Because if their thoughts on a certain product I love align with my own, then I'm more likely to agree with their opinions in general. This helps when it comes to their reviews of products I've never tried. Thus, I plan to share a few reviews on some of my very favorite products that are still available so that you can have a better gauge by which to judge if you agree with my makeup opinions.
Colourpop is one of those Instagram/YouTube famous brands that I've been wanting to try for a long time. I've heard reviews all over the board from different YouTube beauty vloggers that I follow and, since testing products/formulas is one of my favorite hobbies, I knew I needed to try them out for myself! Now that I have them, let's talk about formula, swatches, and how they held up through the day for me!
I've been subscribed to Birchbox for several months now, and I always look forward to seeing what's in my monthly box. I love the opportunity to try products without paying their full price tag and being introduced to items that I might not otherwise have purchased. One thing I wanted to avoid with this subscription box is receiving the items and then never intentionally trying them. This is why each month, when I share what I received in my new box, I also talk about my thoughts on the products from the month before. Personally, I think it's a fun way for us to all learn something together!
