I have been a Birchbox subscriber for about five months now and I absolutely love it. I find it to be a great way to try out new products and learn about new brands without committing to their full-size price tags.
For this month's post, I'll just be sharing with you the items that I got in this month's box, but in the months following I'll share my new box along with my thoughts on last month's products after having had a chance to use them a few times. Hopefully that will help you out if you're interested in any of the products I share! :) I've linked to the products and put in the prices for the full-size item in case you want to research them any further. None of the links are affiliate links and I purchased this box with my own money. :)
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Tinted Lash Primer ($24)
I've never tried using a lash primer before, so I'm interested to see if this will alter my routine in any way. The box says that I can use it with or without the addition of mascara, but since the color they sent me is mink-brown, I doubt that I'll be using it alone. I prefer black mascaras - probably because, as a natural blonde (surprise! haha), my lashes are basically invisible without mascara.
Privai Nourishing Face + Body Oil ($38)
I've recently been really enjoying face oils, so I'm looking forward to seeing what this one is all about!
Milk Makeup Highlighter ($24)
Highlighters are a new-to-me as of this year product. They just weren't something I bothered with before this year, but I've been loving them ever since I've started using them. Since Milk Makeup is a gluten free brand, I'm extra excited to try this one!
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Cleanser ($36)
I feel like I've heard all about this one on YouTube, so I'm intrigued to have the chance to try it for myself.
Davines Naturaltech Replumping Hair Filler Superactive ($40)
Let's be real, I dye my hair often, let my hair air dry 90% of the time, and am obsessed with dry shampoo. Other than that I am not the best at really caring what goes on with my hair. I'm learning, but hair has just never been my strong suit. Trying this product will likely be really good for me, but I can't say I'm ever thrilled about getting new hair products.
Bonus: They threw in the matching Naturaltech Replumping Hair Shampoo + Conditioner for me to try. I'll probably hang on to these for an overnight trip instead of testing them with the rest of the month's items.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of them?
