Happy Wednesday, Friends! Michael + I are in Oklahoma at the moment enjoying time with my immediate and extended family. I'm having a great time showing him places that I remember from my childhood, and we're loving being near my family. We don't get to see them nearly as much as we would like! I thought it would be fun to try this taking stock type of post inspired by Meet Me at Mikes and give you all a glimpse of what we're up to. If you want even more updates, you can follow me on instagram where I will be occasionally sharing photos of our antics with the hashtag #PowBasOK2014
Making: Priceless memories with my family.

Cooking: Roast and cherry cobbler with my mom.

Drinking: Lots of water and Sonic happy hour slushes. It's hot!

Reading: Old Valentine's that my aunts made and sent out.

Playing: Fetch with Millie, my grandparents' dog.

Wishing: That I had more time here and that I could restore many of these old homes to live in and for weddings.

Enjoying: Laughing with my siblings, hearing my grandparents' and parents' stories.

Liking: What my friend Sarah of Sarah Becker Photography is announcing tomorrow.

Wondering: How to find my dream home within my dream demographic.

Loving: Old photographs.

Hoping: That all of the HUGE dreams I've been dreaming come to fruition.

Marveling: At how strong childhood nostalgia can be and how much it can effect the way places make me feel to this day.

Smelling: The comforting smell of my grandparents' home, which I swear is the smell of happiness.

Wearing: My favorite green shorts and navy blue tank top.

Noticing: All the little details of my grandparents' home that seemed so huge when I was little and are so small now.

Thinking: Of how fun it would be to restore an old home.

Giggling: Over random Skype conversations between long distance friends and the silly things my brother does.

Feeling: Joyful.

Exploring: The nooks and crannies of my grandparents' home and between the covers of their photo albums.

Planning: To seize the day and make things happen when I get home.

What are you taking stock of today? I'd love to know!
xoxo,
Stacia
